Mary-Jane Glover-Moffett

Mary-Jane Glover-Moffett was born in Africa and moved to England at a young age where she was schooled in Art. Her passion for being creative was reflected in her high grades in fine art. After moving to Canada in 1974 she studied art at several institutions while establishing herself as a graphic artist.  She entered into the applied arts and operated a successful designer decoration business using her skills in fabric design and the application of it to soft furnishings.

In recent years she lived in Australia and studied Botanical Art in Melbourne under a highly respected and successful botanical artist. Her watercolours are brought to life by a fusion of the intricate skills learned in botanical studies and her love of the natural world.

Now residing in Whistler British Columbia with her family she operates Stitch and Paint Whistler where her original paintings  are transferred and sold in many forms including greeting cards, limited run prints and her own line of fabrics. This unique collection is used to create beautiful soft furnishings for the home and office.
