Jane MacLeod Dow was born in Carberry Manitoba and moved to her family's home in West Vancouver at the age of 5. Jane grew up on the West Coast of British Columbia and has primarily been enriched by her artistic family.

Jane's work is inspired by the West Coast of British Columbia.  She has also produced a successful series of wildlife and whimsical dog portraits. Jane now intends to be involved in more local workshops and study landscape and the human form.  Jane started seriously painting in 2008 and has been painting full time since.
