Students will learn how to simplify the complexity of the human form and to bring drawings forward into more complete paintings. Through learning the uses of contour, line, shading, highlighting, proportions, this class will delve into the many subtle details of working with this subject matter.  Students are encouraged to capture the individual’s character as well as trusting their own intuition. Students may work in their chosen medium with demonstrations performed in acrylics and drawing media.
