Course Outline

This class is intended for students with strong previous experience in watercolour painting who wish to continue painting at an advanced level.  Students will explore essential watercolour techniques exploring the mediums softness as well as its ability to compose crisp, highly defined form. Perception exercises will enable students to excel in photo reference interpretation.  Students will paint directly from nature and will be taught the techniques of painting both water surfaces and what lies below the water.  Much of this course will be taught outside from the lakeside deck to capture the morning light (wheather dependant).
