Out of Bounds is a Whistlers' only month long photo contest and exhibit for both emerging and professional photographers. At the start of the season at Millennium Place over 20 B.C. backcountry photographers will battle to win amazing prizes and bragging rights as the winner of either the “Peoples Choice” award or the “Best in Show Award” judged by a panel of experts in the photography industry. Previous jury members included professional photographers; Les Anthony and Blake Jorgenson, Mountain Life magazine editor Todd Lawson and industry professional Rick Etkin.

2011 Winners:
The two winning photographers walked away with Heliskiing trips from Coast Range Heliskiing (value $1,000), one from a professionally juried vote and the second from the voting public. Both photographers displayed photographic integrity and creative perspective of skiing and snowboarding in B.C.'s backcountry.

Eric Berger was selected for his acclaimed image "Dan Treadway" by a jury of professional photographers composed of: Les Anthony, Blake Jorgenson, Rick Etkin and Todd Lawson.
